一、基本概念
定義：讓步狀語從句表示"雖然/盡管...但是..."的轉(zhuǎn)折關(guān)系，引導詞包括：
although/though（雖然）
even though（即使）
no matter + 疑問詞（無論...）
as（盡管，需倒裝）

注意事項：
中文常說"雖然...但是..."，但英語中although/though不與but連用
though可放在句末作副詞，意為"不過"

2、even though：
Even though it's expensive, I'll buy it.

六、讓步狀語從句的轉(zhuǎn)換表達
1、用but改寫：
Although she is rich, she isn't happy.
→ She is rich, but she isn't happy.
2、用however改寫：
Though he tried hard, he failed.
→ He tried hard; however, he failed.
3、用despite/in spite of改寫（+名詞/動名詞）：
Even though it rained, we went out.
→ Despite the rain, we went out.
