（一）There be句型的用法
表示“某地有某物”，be動詞的形式取決于后面的名詞（就近原則）
單數名詞/不可數名詞用there is：There is a plant on the table. 桌子上有一盆植物。
復數名詞用there are：There are three books on the desk. 書桌上有三本書。
否定句：在be動詞后加not
There isn’t a TV in the room. 房間里沒有電視。
There aren’t any toys under the bed. 床下沒有玩具。
一般疑問句：將be動詞提到句首，some改為any
Is there a sofa in the living room 客廳里有沙發嗎？
Are there any pictures on the wall 墻上有圖畫嗎？
回答：
肯定：Yes, there is. / Yes, there are.
否定：No, there isn’t. / No, there aren’t.
（二）方位介詞的用法
介詞 含義 例句
in 在……里面 The cat is in the box. 貓在盒子里。
on 在……上面（表面接觸） The book is on the desk. 書在書桌上。
under 在……下面 The ball is under the chair. 球在椅子下面。
beside 在……旁邊 The dog is beside the door. 狗在門旁邊。
behind 在……后面 The bike is behind the tree. 自行車在樹后面。
（三）some與any在There be句型中的區別
some：用于肯定句，修飾可數名詞復數或不可數名詞
There are some flowers in the vase. 花瓶里有一些花。
any：用于否定句和疑問句
There aren’t any apples in the fridge. 冰箱里沒有蘋果。
Are there any students in the classroom 教室里有學生嗎？
