About four years ago, I made a resolution:I would read 30 new books a year. I did it and reading has been my habit ever since. However, I decided to stop doing that recently, because I found that I forgot almost everything I learned from the books earlier.
I found the problem because of one of my friends. She was worrying a lot about life at that time. Iwanted to help her stop worrying. The book How to Stop Worrying and Start Living by Dale Carnegie was one of my favorite books. I learned a lot from it. When I wanted to share something from the book with my friend,I found that I didn't remember anything. So I decided to re-read(重讀) it. After that,I felt Ilearned more from the book.
When I re-read the book,I also realized that we often forget knowledge(知識) over time. If we want to remember it and use it, we must review(復(fù)習(xí)) it from time to time.
