一、時間的表達方法
（一）整點表達方法
用 “整點數（基數詞）＋o'clock” 或直接用 “整點數（基數詞）” 表示，常與介詞 at 搭配。
例如：
（1）We have an English class at eight o'clock.
我們八點有一節英語課。
（2）Classes start at seven.
七點開始上課。
（二）非整點表達方法
1、順讀法
“先時后分”，先讀整點數，再讀分鐘數，都用基數詞。
例如：
（1）It's three twenty.
現在是三點二十分。
（2）The meeting begins at nine forty-five.
會議九點四十五分開始。
2、逆讀法
（1）“先分后時”，都用基數詞，但要注意一些特殊分鐘點的用法。
①分鐘數小于 30 時，用 “分鐘數 + past + 整點數” 表示；
②分鐘數等于 30 時，用 “half past＋整點數” 表示；
③分鐘數超過 30 時，用 “60 減去分鐘數＋to＋下一個整點數” 表示；
④分鐘數是 15 或 45 時，分鐘數可用 quarter 表示。
例如：
①It's ten past ten.
現在是十點十分。
②Let's meet at half past five.
我們五點半見面吧。
③It's a quarter to seven.
現在是六點四十五分。
二、時間表達法與介詞的搭配用法
（一）at：用于表示時刻、時間的某一點。
（1）The train will arrive at a quarter to nine.
火車將在八點四十五分到達。
（2）My little brother goes to bed at half past nine every evening.
我的弟弟每晚九點半上床睡覺。
（3）We have a break at ten o'clock in the morning.
我們上午十點有個課間休息。
（二）on：用于某天或者某一天的上、下午。
（1）They go to the library on Sunday morning.
他們周日上午去圖書館。
（2）We have a P.E. class on Thursday afternoon.
我們星期四下午有一節體育課。
（3）We clean our classroom on Friday.
我們星期五打掃教室。
（三）in：用于表示周、月、季節、年，泛指的上午、下午、晚上。
（1）We have a school trip in October every year.
我們每年 10 月有一次學校旅行。
（2）People like to fly kites in Spring.
人們喜歡在春天放風箏。
（3）I hope to visit my grandparents in the winter holiday every year.我希望每年寒假去看望我的祖父母。
三、時間表達法的易錯知識點
（一）非整點時間后不能加 “o'clock”，“o'clock” 僅用于整點。
例如：
（1）①It's six ten o'clock.×
現在是六點十分。
②It's six ten.√
現在是六點十分。
（2）①We meet at nine thirty o'clock.×
我們九點三十分見面。
②We meet at nine thirty.√
我們九點三十分見面。

（二）“past” 與 “to” 的使用混淆
分鐘數＜30 時不能用 “to”；分鐘數＞30 時不能用 “past”。

（2）電影七點四十分開始。
①The film starts at forty past seven.×
②The film starts at twenty to eight.√

（三）特殊時間點用“quarter”的用法
15 分鐘用 “a quarter past”45分鐘用“a quaeter to”。

①She arrives at a quarter past six.×
②She arrives at a quarter to six.√

（四）時間與時間介詞 “at/on/in” 的搭配錯誤
時刻前用 “at”，具體日期 / 星期前要用 “on”，月份 / 季節前要用 “in”。
