Good afternoon, everyone! My name is Li xin. I come from Sun Middle School. I am very glad to have this opportunity to talk something about my teaching ideas. Today I’m going to talk about the topic “No Rules,No Order” I will divide the instruction into nine parts:

I. Teaching Material Analysis
The theme of this unit is "Rules." Section B 2a - 2c builds on the school rules learned in Section A by further expanding into rules in the family and daily life. This section aims to enable students to express their opinions and feelings about rules using the language knowledge they have learned through reading a letter for help and writing a response. It also aims to develop students' reading comprehension and writing skills.
(1) Lesson type :This lesson is a writing period.
2.Analysis of the students
After previous learning, students have already mastered some vocabulary and sentence patterns related to rules, such as "can," "have to," "must," "can't," and "mustn't," and have a certain foundation in language. Seventh-grade students have a strong curiosity and desire for knowledge, and they can actively participate in classroom activities under the guidance of teachers. However, their reading comprehension and writing skills still need to be improved, and teachers need to provide more guidance and practice.
3.Teaching aims and Demands
(1) Students can correctly understand and use modal verbs such as "can", "have to", "best", "can't", "mustn' t" to express the rules.
(2) Students can master the key words and phrases in the text, such as "follow the rules", "get untidy", "practice the violin", etc.

Teaching methods:
(1) “Task-based learning method”: New Syllabus Design encourages teachers to use this teaching method. So I give them some tasks and activities ,such as free talk in my class , They can finish them dependently or in groups. It can make the Ss the real masters in class.
(2) As we all know: the main aims of learning English in the Middle School is to cultivate students’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading, writing and their good sense of the English language. So in this lesson ,I’ll also use “Communicative” teaching method to make rules in 2c.
(3)We will have competitions in the whole lesson, so “Group work teaching method” is a good method.
5.Teaching and learning Methods
Learning methods:
(1). Teach Ss how to be successful language learners.
(2). Teach Ss how to develop the writing skill — fomat& analyze the question; how to communicate with others; how to learn new words; how to learn independently;
(3). Get the Ss to form good writing habits.

Step 1 Lead in (3 分鐘)

(1)快速閱讀:讓學(xué)生快速閱讀 2a 的信件,回答問題:“Who wrote the letter What's his problem ”
(2)仔細(xì)閱讀:讓學(xué)生仔細(xì)閱讀信件,完成 2a 的填空練習(xí),檢查學(xué)生對文章細(xì)節(jié)的理解。
(3)小組討論:組織學(xué)生分組討論 Eric 所提到的規(guī)則,分析每條規(guī)則的合理性和重要性。

Step 5 寫作(10 分鐘)
讓學(xué)生以 Dr. Know 的身份給 Eric 寫一封回信,給出一些建議。寫作前,先與學(xué)生一起分析回信的結(jié)構(gòu)和內(nèi)容,然后讓學(xué)生獨立完成寫作,可以用上自己準(zhǔn)備的規(guī)則,寫作完成后,選擇部分學(xué)生的作品進(jìn)行展示和點評。
Step 6 總結(jié)、評價與作業(yè)布置(3分鐘)
(1)與學(xué)生一起回顧本節(jié)課的重點內(nèi)容,包括詞匯、句型和語法。
(2)學(xué)生自評。
