原級
一、原級的用法
1.只能修飾原級的詞，very，quite，so，too
He is too tired to walk on. 他太累了，走不動了。
My brother runs so fast that I can’t follow him.　我哥哥跑得太快了，我跟不上他?！?br/>2.原級常用的句型結構
（1）A= B-----A+ as +adj / adv的原級+ as +B (表示 “A和B一樣”)
Tom is as old as Kate.湯姆和凱特一樣大。
Tom runs as fast as Mike. 湯姆跑得和邁克一樣快。
（2）A＜B---A +not+as/so+形容詞原級+as+B (表示 “A不如B…”)
This room is not as/so big as that one. 這個房間沒有那個房間大。
He doesn’t walk as slowly as you.他不像你走得那么慢。
二、原級與比較級的轉換
（1）倍數+ as …as → (倍數-1)+比較級+than
This room is five times as big as that one 這個房間的面積是那個房間的五倍大。
=This room is four times bigger than that one .
（2）not as…as 與比較級的轉換
A +not as …as + B → A+比較級(反義詞的比較級) +than +B →B+比較級+than+A
Mary is not as old as Tom .瑪麗沒有湯姆那么大。
= Mary is younger than Tom. 瑪麗比湯姆年輕。
= Tom is older than Mary .湯姆比瑪麗年長。
This book is not as expensive as that one 這本書沒有那本貴。
= This book is cheaper than that one. 這本書比那本書便宜。
= That book is more expensive than this one .那本書比這本貴
比較級
一、比較級的構成方法
（一）規則變化

二、比較級的用法
(1)由表示程度的副詞a little, a bit, a few, a lot, much, even, still, far, rather, any等修飾時，用形容詞或副詞的比較級。如：It’s even colder today.
(2) 比較級的常見結構有：
A+ be/動詞+ 比較級（含more+多音節形容詞/副詞原級）+than+ B, 表示“A比B…”,即A>B Sam has longer hair than Tom.薩姆的頭發比湯姆長。
The +比較級…, the+ 比較級… 表示 “越…,就越…”. The more books you read, the more widely your mind will open up.你讀的書越多，你的思維就會越開闊。
比較級+and+比較級，表示“越來越…”. 注意：若為多音節詞的比較級，則用“more and more+形容詞原級”表示“越來越…” Talent shows are getting more and more popular. 才藝表演越來越受歡迎。
A+be/動詞+比較級+than any other+可數名詞單數 He did better in math than any other boy in his class.他在數學方面比班上的其他男孩都做得更好。
A+be/動詞+less+多音節形容詞原級+than+B 表示“A不及B…”,即A表示兩者之間進行選擇時，用句型： Which/Who +be/動詞+比較級，A or B Who is taller,Li Ming or Wang Tao 誰更高，李明還是王濤？
表示“兩者之間較…的一個”時，常用 “the+比較級”of +名詞 He is the thinner of the two.他是兩個人中較瘦的一個。
表示“幾倍于…”時，用“倍數+比較級+than”結構。 Your room is three times bigger than mine.你的房間是我的三倍大。
