資源簡介 (共32張PPT)Unit 1Science andScientistsUsing LanguageAcquire and accurately use biographical vocabulary and structures to describe scientists' achievements.1234教學目標Develop skills to extract and organize key information from biographical texts through reading strategies.Understand the cultural and historical contexts that shaped these scientists' contributions to humanity.Analyze biographical accounts critically to evaluate scientists' problem-solving approaches and impacts.教學重難點0102Master the structure and rules of predicative clauses, including common conjunctions and how they explain the subject. Learn to use predicative clauses accurately in different tenses and sentences.Distinguish predicative clauses from other noun clauses and correctly choose conjunctions. Use predicative clauses properly in complex sentences and oral communication.01ListeningLook at the photos below, and discuss in groups what these activities have to do with science. The photos above are related to the conversation you will hear. Using the photos, try to predict the answers to the following questions.1. Where are the people in the conversation going to go 2. What kind of place is it, and what does it focus on 3. What kinds of things can you do there You can probably try different activities to learn about sound, light, reflection, and so on.For example, you can go to a room with many mirrors facing each other so it looks like there are many copies of you! Or you can play with a big piano on the floor. It is a science museum that focuses on letting visitors experience science through interactive learning exhibitions. They are going to a science museum.02Reading中國科學院院士、中國工程院院士提出工程控制論, 在應用力學等領域有深遠影響兩彈一星功勛獎章獲得者中國航天事業的奠基人被譽為“中國航天之父”“火箭之王”猜猜他是誰?客串《生活大爆炸》,以幽默方式傳播科學精神警示地球危機,呼吁太空探索漸凍癥患者堅持科研黑洞與宇宙起源研究者《《時間簡史》作者猜猜他是誰?Look at the pictures and the title. We can demonstrate how these interact through a simple experiment using milk, dish soap, and food colouring. First, cover the bottom of a shallow plate with milk. Now add two or three drops of different liquid food colouring to the centre of the milk. They should form one large dark puddle in the middle of the milk. Now, dip a cotton swab into dish soap, and place it into the middle of the food colouring.SampleYou will see the colours quickly move to escape from the soap, making interesting and beautiful patterns. This happens because the dish soap molecules have a strong negative charge, and the milk molecules have a strong positive charge. Like magnets, these molecules are attracted to each other, and so they appear to move around on the plate, taking the food colouring with them, making it look like the colours are quickly moving to escape from the soap.Sample04HomeworkHomework1.
