Step 1 Leading in
1.Review the holiday activities learnt in the last class by asking students to recall and say them out.
2.Play a short game “True or False”:Say some statements about holiday activities and students quickly judge whether they are true or false.
Step 2 Work on 2a
1.Ask students to listen to the conversation and choose the correct sentences to complete it.
2.Check the answers and have students read the conversation aloud.
Step 3 Work on 2b-2c
1.Ask students to read the conversation in 2a and complete the table about Peter’s and Adam’s holiday experiences and feelings.
2.Ask students to read the conversation again and complete the summary in 2c.
3.Check the answers.
Step 4 Work on Pronunciation 2
1.Ask students to listen and repeat the two conversations.Notice the rhythm of the sentences.
2.Ask students to listen again and practise speaking with the correct rhythm.
Step 5 Work on 2d-2f
1.Ask students to listen to the conversation again and pay attention to the rhythm.Then role play the conversation in pairs,focusing on the correct intonation and pronunciation.
2.Ask students to tick the words that describe their last summer holiday experience.
3.Let students share their summer holiday experience with a partner using the expressions provided in 2f.
4.Choose several groups to share their conversations in front of the class.Give them some positive feedback.

一、單元內(nèi)容分析
本單元屬于 “人與自我” 主題范疇,涉及 “生活與學(xué)習(xí)” 主題群。通過本單元的學(xué)習(xí),學(xué)生能夠用英語描述假期活動(dòng)、經(jīng)歷和感受,了解不同地區(qū)的旅游文化,提升跨文化交際意識(shí)。
Section A引導(dǎo)學(xué)生談?wù)摷倨诨顒?dòng),通過聽說活動(dòng)讓學(xué)生熟悉常見假期活動(dòng)的表達(dá),學(xué)會(huì)運(yùn)用一般過去時(shí)描述過去發(fā)生的動(dòng)作,以及掌握不定代詞的基本用法,并讓學(xué)生能掌握字母e、i、y、a和字母組合ee、ea在單詞中的發(fā)音規(guī)則。
Section B 則借助閱讀日記及寫作練習(xí),引導(dǎo)學(xué)生深入思考假期經(jīng)歷的意義,使學(xué)生能夠從假期經(jīng)歷中學(xué)習(xí)知識(shí)、收獲成長,并學(xué)會(huì)用英語有條理地?cái)⑹鲎约旱募倨诠适隆?br/>二、單元教學(xué)目標(biāo)

三、單元重難點(diǎn)
1.重點(diǎn):
(1)讓學(xué)生熟練使用一般過去時(shí)和不定代詞。
(2)讓學(xué)生掌握字母 e、i、y、a和字母組合ee、ea 在單詞中的發(fā)音規(guī)則。
(3)讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)用英語描述假期活動(dòng)、經(jīng)歷和感受。
2.難點(diǎn):
(1)根據(jù)具體語境恰當(dāng)運(yùn)用一般過去時(shí),準(zhǔn)確區(qū)分動(dòng)詞過去式的規(guī)則變化和不規(guī)則變化。
(2)引導(dǎo)學(xué)生深入理解不定代詞的含義和用法,尤其是在否定句和疑問句中的運(yùn)用。

Step 1 Leading in
　　Greet the class.Share some pictures or short videos about holiday travels to lead in the topic.
Step 2 Work on 1a-1c
1.Ask students to look at the photos and discuss if they know which country it is and if they would like to visit it.
2.Ask students to read Vincent’s diary entries and answer the questions in 1b.
3.Check the answers and ask students to summarize Vincent’s travel experiences.
4.Ask students to read the diary entries again and complete the timeline of Vincent’s activities on 17 July and 18 July.Check the answers and explain some important language points.
Step 3 Work on 1d
1.Ask students to think about what they can learn from Vincent’s travel experience and make a list of their ideas and share them with a partner.
2.Invite several students to share their ideas in class.
Step 4 Work on 2a-2c
1.Ask students to brainstorm about what they might think of as many words as possible to make phrases in 2a.Encourage them to use vocabulary they already know.
2.Ask students to complete the sentences with the correct words in the box.Then check the answers together.
3.Ask students to read the passage in 2c and complete it with the correct forms of the words in the box.Check the answers and explain some useful language points.
Step 5 Work on 3a
1.Let students read the passage about Gina’s holiday story.Before reading,tell them to pay attention to the context and try to guess the meanings of any unfamiliar words.After reading,ask them to write down the things that Gina did.Walk around to monitor students’ progress and offer help if necessary.
2.Check the answers together and explain some important language points.
Step 6 Work on 3b-3c
1.Ask students to think of an unforgettable experience and answer the questions in 3b.Also,remind them to use the simple past tense and the words and phrases they have learnt in this unit.
2.Give students several minutes to start writing their holiday stories.Walk around the classroom to observe students’ writing process and offer individual guidance,such as helping with vocabulary choices,grammar corrections,and organization of ideas.
3.Select a few students to share their holiday stories with the class.After each sharing,encourage the rest of the class to give suggestions.
4.Summarize the common problems found in students’ writings and give some tips on how to improve their writing skills.

　　本課時(shí)為閱讀和寫作課。學(xué)生在閱讀和討論假期旅行經(jīng)歷相關(guān)內(nèi)容時(shí)表現(xiàn)出較高的積極性,但在表達(dá)自己從旅行經(jīng)歷中獲得的感悟時(shí),部分學(xué)生存在表達(dá)不清晰的問題。后續(xù)應(yīng)加強(qiáng)引導(dǎo),提供更多相關(guān)的詞匯和表達(dá)方式,幫助學(xué)生提升語言表達(dá)能力。

Step 1 Leading in
1.Greet the class and review the expressions of sharing holiday experiences.
2.Introduce the task of making a holiday to do list and the goals students can achieve through it.
Step 2 Work on 4a-4b
1.Divide students into groups.Each group makes a list of the activities they did during their holidays.
2.Then ask each group to choose five meaningful activities they think everyone should try and give reasons for each activity.
Step 3 Work on 4c
1.Ask several groups to share their five activities with the class.
2.The whole class find out the top three activities that everyone likes to do and discusses the reasons.
Step 4 Work on Reflecting
1.Let students answer the questions in Reflecting.Know about whether they can use the simple past tense to describe their holiday experiences and when to use indefinite pronouns,etc.
2.Ask students to share their answers with the class.
3.Give some suggestions and exercises for improvement according to the students’ answers.

　　通過小組合作制作假期活動(dòng)清單,學(xué)生的參與度較高,能充分發(fā)揮團(tuán)隊(duì)協(xié)作精神。但在展示環(huán)節(jié),部分學(xué)生的表達(dá)不夠自信和流暢,需要在今后的教學(xué)中多提供類似的展示機(jī)會(huì),鍛煉學(xué)生的口語表達(dá)和舞臺(tái)表現(xiàn)能力。

2.Show some pictures of different holiday activities and let students discuss what they are and whether they like them.
Step 2 Work on 1a
1.Ask students to look at the activities in 1a and tick the ones they did during the summer holidays.They can also add more activities.
2.Invite some students to share the answers,and explain why they chose certain activities.
Step 3 Work on 1b-1c
1.Play the recording for the first time.Ask students to listen carefully and circle the holiday activities they hear in 1a.
2.Check the answers and play the recording again for students to listen and repeat the sentences.
3.Play the recording once more.This time,ask students to complete the two summaries while listening.
4.Check the answers together and explain some difficult language points.
Step 4 Work on 1d
1.Divide students into pairs.Let them talk about the Yaming’s and Emma’s holidays.
2.Invite several pairs to act out their conversations in front of the class.
Step 5 Work on Pronunciation 1
1.Play the recording of the words in Pronunciation 1.Ask students to listen and repeat the words in the table,focusing on the pronunciation of e,ee,ea,i,y,a.
2.Let students add one more word to each group by themselves and share with the class,emphasizing the correct pronunciation.

　　本課時(shí)從學(xué)生熟悉的假期生活入手,學(xué)生對(duì)假期活動(dòng)話題較感興趣,能積極參與討論和練習(xí)。但部分學(xué)生在運(yùn)用一般過去時(shí)描述假期活動(dòng)時(shí),動(dòng)詞過去式的變化容易出錯(cuò),后續(xù)需增加針對(duì)性練習(xí),強(qiáng)化對(duì)其用法的理解與記憶。
