Step 1 Leading in
　　Greet the class and review the future predictions they learnt in the last class.Ask students to recall some predictions and make sentences using the simple future tense.
Step 2 Work on 2a
1.Ask students to listen to the conversation and fill in the blanks.
2.Check the answers and have students read the conversation aloud.
Step 3 Work on 2b-2c
1.Ask students to read the conversation in 2a and complete the table in 2b.
2.Then ask them to read the conversation again and answer the questions in 2c.
3.Check the answers and explain some useful language points in the conversation.
Step 4 Work on Pronunciation 2
1.Ask students to listen and match the emotions with the sentences.
2.Then ask them to listen and repeat the sentences,paying attention to the emotions.
Step 5 Work on 2d-2e
1.Ask students to listen to the conversation again and role play it in pairs.
2.Then ask students to make up a conversation about their future predictions using the given topics in 2e.
3.Choose several pairs to share their conversations with the class.Give them some positive feedback.

　　通過本節課的聽說練習,學生對一般將來時的掌握有所加強,但在口語表達中,部分學生對該時態的運用還不夠熟練,且發音和語調不夠自然。后續教學中需加強模仿和訓練,鼓勵學生多開口說英語,同時增加更多真實情境的對話練習,提高學生的口語表達能力。

一、單元內容分析
本單元屬于 “人與社會” 主題范疇,涉及 “科學與技術” 主題群。通過本單元的學習,學生能用英語描述對未來的預測、討論未來生活的變化、探索科技對生活的影響以及思考如何為未來做準備,培養了其對未來的想象和思考能力。
Section A部分主要讓學生對未來進行預測,通過聽說讀寫活動,幫助學生熟悉常見的未來預測表達,掌握一般將來時的用法,學習字母n、j、g、f、r和字母組合 kn、ng、nk、ch、tch、ge、ph、wr在單詞中的發音規則。
Section B部分則側重于探討如何為未來做準備。通過閱讀采訪文章,讓學生了解未來科技的發展、職業的變化等,引導學生深入思考未來生活,學會用英語描述未來的變化和自己的應對策略。
二、單元教學目標

1.重點:
(1)學生能熟練掌握一般將來時的用法,包括肯定句、否定句和疑問句的構成及回答。
(2)學生能掌握字母n、j、g、f、r和字母組合 kn、ng、nk、ch、tch、ge、ph、wr在單詞中的發音規則。
(3)學生能學會用所學英語詞匯、短語和句型表達對未來的預測和看法。
2.難點:

Step 1 Leading in
　　Greet the class.Share some short videos about future technology to lead in the topic.
Step 2 Work on 1a-1c
1.Ask students to look at the title of the interview and guess what it is about.
2.Then ask students to read the interview and see if their guess was correct.
3.Ask students to read the interview again and tick the statements that they can infer from the interview.
4.Check the answers and ask students to summarize the main ideas of the text.
Step 3 Work on 1d-1e
1.Ask students to complete the table in 1d with the information from the interview.
2.Ask students to discuss the questions in 1e in groups.
3.Invite several students to share their ideas in class.
Step 4 Work on 2a-2c
1.Ask students to use their dictionary to help write the opposites of the words in 2a.
2.Then ask students to complete the sentences with the correct forms of the words in the box in 2b.Check the answers and ask students to share their answers.
3.Ask students to complete the passage with the correct forms of the words in the box in 2c.Check the answers and explain some useful language points.
Step 5 Work on 3a
1.Ask students to read about Mandy’s dreams for the future and final out what she wants to be.
2.Check the answers together and explain some important language points.
Step 6 Work on 3b-3c
1.Ask students to complete the table about Mandy’s and their own dreams in 3b.Then invite some students to share their ideas.
2.Then ask students to think about what their life will be like in 20 years and write a short passage about their dreams for the future using their notes in 3b.Walk around to monitor students’ progress and offer help if necessary.
3.Select a few students to share their writings with the class.After each sharing,encourage the rest of the class to give feedback and suggestions.
4.Summarize the common problems found in students’ writings and give some tips on how to improve their writing skills.

　　本課時為閱讀和寫作課,學生在閱讀和討論關于未來生活的內容時表現出較高的積極性,但在表達自己對未來的想象和寫作過程中,部分學生存在表達不清晰、邏輯不連貫的問題。后續應加強引導,提供更多相關的詞匯和表達方式,幫助學生提升語言表達能力。在寫作方面,注重引導學生合理組織文章結構,豐富寫作內容,使文章更加有條理。

Step 1 Leading in
1.Greet the class and review the future predictions and the importance of preparing for the future by asking students to share their new understandings.
2.Introduce the task of creating a picture about the future and the goals students can achieve through it.
Step 2 Work on 4a-4b
1.Divide students into groups.Each group discusses what their city will be like in the future in 4a.Try to think of many different ideas,such as population,buildings,transportation and environment.
2.Ask students to decide which predictions are more likely to come true as a group.
Step 3 Work on 4c-4d
1.Each group draws pictures that show those predictions in 4b,and then shows their pictures to other groups.Have them guess the predictions.
2.After each presentation,the other students can ask questions or give comments and suggestions.
Step 4 Work on Reflecting
1.Let students answer the questions in Reflecting.Know about what future predictions they learnt and whether they can use the simple future tense to talk about their future life,etc.
2.Ask students to share their answers with the class.
3.Give some suggestions and exercises for improvement according to the students’ answers.

1.Ask students to look at the predictions in 1a and tick the ones they think will come true in 100 years.
2.Then ask them to share their answers with a partner and explain their choices.
Step 3 Work on 1b-1c
1.Play the recording for the first time.Ask students to listen carefully and complete the summary of the first conversation and circle T or F for the second conversation.
2.Play the recording again.Ask students to listen and repeat.
3.Check the answers.
Step 4 Work on 1d
1.Divide students into pairs.Let them ask and answer questions about the predictions in 1a using the patterns:“Will... Yes,they will./No,they won’t.”
2.Invite several pairs to share their conversations with the class.
Step 5 Work on Pronunciation 1
1.Ask students to listen and repeat the words in the table,focusing on the pronunciation of n,kn,nk,ng,ch,tch,j,ge,g,f,ph,r,wr.
2.Then ask students to add one more word to each group by themselves and share with the class,emphasizing the correct pronunciation.

1.Ask students to read the sentences and notice the words in bold.Then let them find more sentences in Section A that use the simple future tense.
2.Have students write down their ideas and share them with the class.
Step 3 Work on 3b
1.Ask students to complete the conversations with the correct forms of the verbs in the box.
2.Check the answers and ask students to explain their choices.
Step 4 Work on 3c
1.Ask students to write some predictions about their partner’s life in 20 years and then make up a conversation.Walk around the class to monitor students’ progress and offer help if necessary.
2.Ask several groups to act out the conversations in front of the class.
