Begin the class by asking questions: Hello, everyone! If you have a chance to take a holiday, what would you like to do/eat/visit… 2. Take himself/herself as an example, telling students what he/she did/ate/visited.Step 2 Work on 3a1. Read aloud the sentences provided and ask students to find out the same points among the sentences. Discuss the answers together.2. Ask students to circle all the indefinite pronouns. Explain the function and usage of them in sentences and provide more examples.Step 3 Work on 3b1. Complete the conversation with the correct indefinite pronouns.2. Check the answers and explain the reason why the indefinite pronouns are used in this way. The answers are: anything, nothing, Someone, anyone, something.3. Ask students to practise reading the dialogue aloud and have students work in pairs to role-play the conversation.Step 4 Work on 3c1. Complete the passage with the correct indefinite pronouns. Check the answers, they are: everyone, no one, nothing, everything, something, someone.2. Ask students to read the passage aloud and pay attention to the indefinite pronouns. Then read again.3.
