I would use yellow, red, and gray to describe my hometown, Shanxi. Yellow is the Yellow River. It runs through Shanxi, carrying the long-standing civilization (源遠流長的文明) of the Chinese nation. Red is for the revolutionary history (革命歷史). Many heroes fought (戰斗) here, and red shows their spirit. Gray is because of the old buildings and city walls. They are like storytellers (講故事的人), showing the old times of Shanxi.
