Does anybody like doing housework Should children do housework For some children, doing housework may be their last choice. For many parents, getting their children to do some housework is also one big headache. However,a Malaysian mother found a creative way.
Nurafiza came up with a reward system(獎勵制度) for her two sons at home and posted it online. She chose some housework and gave them money for what they did. Nurafiza also opened a“mini supermarket” at home for her kids. They could buy candies at her mini market from 10:00a. m. to 8:00p. m.The money she gave to her kids was a kind of prop(道具).
Because of the system, Nurafiza's children are now more willing to do housework. Her post has got over 15,000 likes and has been shared over27,000 times online. Many parents have begun to imitate her. In other words, they use the same way to teach their children.
In fact, doing housework can play a very important role in children's growth. First, it teaches children necessary skills for living, such as cooking and cleaning. Second, it is a good way to help children keep healthy. Third, it creates chances for parents and children to be closer. Finally, a child can grow into a responsible(有責任感的) and independent person by helping with the housework.

C
Children should do housework. Different people have different ideas. A few parents will say that their children are too busy for housework. Many more of us ask them to do housework, or say we believe in them, but the housework just doesn't get done.
That's a problem. For starters, housework is good for kids. Being a part of the work of running housework helps children develop an awareness(意識) of the needs of others.
One small study, done over a period of 25 years, found that the best predictor for young adults'success in their mid-20s was whether they took part in housework tasks at the age of3 or 4. Those who early shared responsibilities(責任) developed a sense of responsibility in other areas of their lives.
But for all that their help matters, few kids are doing much around the house at all. In a survey of 1,000American adults,75 percent said they believed normal housework made kids“more responsible”. Yet while82 percent reported having had normal housework growing up, only 56 percent of those with children said they required them to do housework.
Sports and homework are not the housework-free reasons. The goal, after all, is to raise the adults who can balance(平衡)a caring role in their families and communities with whatever lifetime achievement goals they choose. ★ .
What should you do when getting children to do housework Accept no excuses. Don't worry if you must repeat yourself again and again. If you' re spending more time getting the child to do this job than it would take to do it yourself, then you' re doing it right. Can a payment help Maybe. But if you' re trying to teach kids to share the responsibility of a home, paying them for normal housework is not the right message.
( )61. What can we infer from the first paragraph
A. Housework is a must-do for parents. B. Children are very busy with housework.
C. Very few children get housework done. D. Family members should admire each other.
( )62. What is found in the small study
A. Housework develops a sense of responsibility.
B. Housework helps a man live a happy life.
C. A child must start doing housework at the age of 3.
D. A man's success depends on his housework.
( )63. Which of the following can be put in ★
A. Parents teaches that balance B. Housework teaches that balance
C. Housework is more important than sports D. Housework is more important than homework
( )64. What does the writer advise parents to do in the last paragraph
A. Pay the child for housework. B. Balance housework and study.
C. Do housework by themselves. D. Help the child do housework actively.
( )65. Which would be the best theme picture of the passage

Hello, boys and girls. I'm Li Hua. I think labour education is an important part in the development of the young people. So it's necessary for us teenagers to take an active part in labour activities.
I take part in a series of labour activities in my spare time. When I'm at school,I clean classrooms and sometimes water flowers. When I'm at home, I often help my parents with housework, such as cooking, sweeping the floor and doing the dishes. When I'm free on weekends, I do voluntary service with friends at old people's homes.
With labour activities, I not only learn teamwork with others but also develop a sense of responsibility. Labour makes me know more about others and I can understand them better now. Doing labour activities helps me grow.
That's all. Thank you.
