Katrina and Mai walk home from school together every day. The two friends started doing so in third grade. For the past five years, it has been a routine for them. The half-an-hour walk is the happiest time for them each day.

How does it feel when someone listens to you without interrupting(打斷) you This is called active listening and it's a great way to understand other people's feelings and build trust between friends.
Active listening means trying to understand how someone feels by listening carefully to what they' re saying and by paying attention to their body language.
