He visited the Victory Museum, the Moscow Metro stations, Red Square and a school.
He felt excited and happy about his trip, even though he got a little sick on the first day.
1. As we walked through the halls, the tour guide told us stories about the war. 當(dāng)我們走過(guò)大廳時(shí)，導(dǎo)游給我們講述了關(guān)于戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)的故事。
guide n. 導(dǎo)游；指南；手冊(cè) v. 給某人領(lǐng)路；指導(dǎo)

The guide gave each of us a guide. 導(dǎo)游給了我們每個(gè)人一本旅游指南。
(2)【動(dòng)詞】給某人領(lǐng)路；指導(dǎo)；指引
guide sb. to do sth. 指導(dǎo)某人做某事
I often guide my sister to learn English.
我經(jīng)常指導(dǎo)我妹妹學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)。
2. In one hall, I saw an artwork with thousands of glass “tears” falling down.
在一個(gè)展廳里，我看到一件藝術(shù)品：成千上萬(wàn)的玻璃“眼淚”正從上方墜落。
with + 賓語(yǔ)（thousands of glass ‘tears’）+ 賓補(bǔ)（falling down）
這里的 falling down 是現(xiàn)在分詞短語(yǔ)，作賓語(yǔ)補(bǔ)足語(yǔ)，強(qiáng)調(diào)動(dòng)作“正在進(jìn)行”。
【拓展】
結(jié)構(gòu)：with + 名詞 / 代詞 + 非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞 / 形容詞 / 介詞短語(yǔ)等
功能：在句中作定語(yǔ)或狀語(yǔ)，表示伴隨、原因、方式等。
例句：She left the room with the door open.
（伴隨狀態(tài)，“門(mén)開(kāi)著”。）
With him helping us, we finished the work quickly.
（原因，“有他幫忙”。）
3. It reminds us that war is terrible and peace does not come easily.
這提醒我們，戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)是可怕的，和平來(lái)之不易。
remind sb. that… 提醒某人某事
(1) remind sb. of sth. 使某人想起某事（= make sb. remember sth.）
(2) remind sb. to do sth. 提醒某人去做某事（動(dòng)作尚未發(fā)生）
例如：This song always reminds me of our first date.
這首歌總是讓我想起我們的第一次約會(huì)。
Mom reminded me to call the doctor for an appointment.
媽媽提醒我給醫(yī)生打電話預(yù)約。
4. We should not forget that.
我們不應(yīng)忘記這一點(diǎn)。
forget v. 忘記；遺忘
forget to do sth. 忘記去做某事（某事未做）
forget doing sth. 忘記做過(guò)某事（某事已做）
I forget to turn off the light. 我忘記關(guān)燈了。（燈未關(guān)）
I forget turning off the light. 我忘記關(guān)過(guò)燈了。(表示我關(guān)燈了，但是忘記做過(guò)這件事。）
5. We were so happy that we didn’t notice the time.
我們太高興了，以至于沒(méi)有注意到時(shí)間。
so + 形容詞 / 副詞 + that + 結(jié)果狀語(yǔ)從句，表示“如此…… 以至于……”，強(qiáng)調(diào)前因后果的邏輯關(guān)系。
例句：
She is so kind that everyone likes her.（形容詞）
He ran so fast that I couldn’t catch up.（副詞）
It was so hot a day that we stayed indoors.（= such a hot day that…）
