1.I've run out of it . 我已經用完了它。
"run out of”和"run out”都有“用完”的意思，但二者的用法不同。
（1）二者的詞性不同：
"run out of”是及物短語； "run out”作不及物短語。
She has ran out of money. 她的錢用完了。
His strength ran out. 他的力氣用完了。
（2）二者主動語態上的區別：
"run out of”表示主動語態時，主語只能是人；
"run out”表示主動語態時，其主語通常是時間、金錢、食物等無生命名詞。
We run out of water,and had to buy. 我們的水用完了，所以不得不去買。
If we run out money,we can sell some of the products. 如果我們的錢用完了，可以賣點一點產品。

repair mend fix 這三個詞都含有“修理、修補”的意思,有時可以通用,但也有些區別.
1) repair的對象范圍很廣,從房屋、道路、機器到日常生活必需品,是使受到一定損失或失靈的東西恢復其形狀或功能.
Who has repaired the broken leg of the table?誰把桌子的斷腿修好了?
2) mend的意思是恢復某物原來的樣子(包括用針、線來縫補),一般指較小之物.
This shirt is too old to mend.這件衣服太舊不能補了.
3) fix用于需要重新“調”物體的結構,把松散的部件固定結實,將分離的物體各部分裝配起來.用于美國口語中,與repair無多大區別.

3.I take after my mother . 我像我母親。I'm similar to her . 我很像她。
look like ;take after ; be similar to 的區別。
（1）look like 應用范圍最廣；除了描述人、物之外，也能抽象表達事件或現象，
He looks like a famous movie star.
（2）take after 最常見的是用在有血緣關系的親子之間，外貌用的最多，也能夠用在性格脾氣這些內在特質上。除了人之外，也有時會用在其他動物（泰半是寵物）上。
（3）be similar to 用法一般都是在相近似的物品和情境的對比上.
