表“迷路，走失”。例如：

② (be) out of danger, 表示“脫離危險”。例如：
The doctors say he’s now out of danger.
大夫們說現在他脫離了危險。

cut down “砍倒，減少，降低，縮短” , down是副詞, 構成動副短語,代詞賓語放中間。

小男孩用斧子砍倒了小樹。
e.g. The doctor told me to cut down smoking .
醫生告訴我減少吸煙。

8. We must save the trees and not buy things made of ivory. 我們必須拯救樹木，拒買象牙制品。
（be）made of … 表示“由……制作(制造)” 。
e.g. be made of wood 由木頭制成的
be made of glass 由玻璃制成的
當made of… 作定語限定修飾名詞時，必須放在該名詞之后。語法將其稱作“后置定語”。例如：
e.g. a boat made of paper 一條紙疊的小船
things made of bamboo 竹制品；竹子做的東西
