Everyone has his best friend. I also has a best friend. Her name is Mary, a middle school student.
Let me tell you what she looks like. She is beautiful. She has a round face and a small mouth. She also has a long black hair and big eyes. She usually wears a pair of glasses. We can usually see she wears red dress and white shoes.
Mary is a kind and nice girl and she often helps me study. So I like her very much.
先有總起句引出主題，再簡單介紹自己朋友的基本信息。
全文采用不同句式來描述她的外貌、穿著等方面，語言豐富，有質(zhì)感；。全文使用“but, and, also…”等連詞使行文連貫，而且有層次感。

學(xué)習(xí) 目標(biāo) 1. 語言知識目標(biāo)： 1) 能夠運用相貌特征的形容詞：tall, short, of medium height, slim, thin, fat, straight hair, long hair, curly hair... 2）能夠運用人物描寫句型：she is ... she has ... she wears ... 2.語言能力目標(biāo)： 能夠用英語描述媽媽的外貌，性格特征，以及常為自己所做的事情。 3. 情感態(tài)度價值觀目標(biāo)： 通過對媽媽的描寫，能夠用愛的語言去描述身邊的美，珍惜時間，關(guān)愛父母。 幫助各層次的學(xué)生樹立自信心，敢于用英語進行描寫。
重點 通過寫作，熟練掌握描述外貌的多個描述形容詞及句型。
難點 運用本單元的目標(biāo)語言，描述自己的媽媽外形與優(yōu)秀品質(zhì)，形成懂感恩的優(yōu)秀品格。

講授新課 sk Ss to fill in the blanks with the words in the box. Ask Ss to check the answer in the group. Finish the exercise by themselves first. Check the answer in the group. 獨立完成學(xué)案習(xí)題，讓學(xué)生進一步學(xué)習(xí)描述人物詞匯,初步了解文章結(jié)構(gòu)。適當(dāng)加入生詞并附有英英解釋，為了實現(xiàn)侵潤式學(xué)習(xí)，鍛煉學(xué)生的英語思維。
Ask Ss to read the short passage and write down the words tress on the blackboard. Try to find the words of describing the appearance of English teacher. 詞匯樹可以幫助學(xué)生記錄和組織描繪人物的語言。

課堂小結(jié) 本節(jié)課是本單元的第四課時，是一節(jié)寫作課，主要目的是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的綜合語言的運用能力。通過本單元的學(xué)習(xí)，語言技能目標(biāo)要求學(xué)生能夠靈活描述人物外貌，能夠根據(jù)描述圖化人物形象；語言知識目標(biāo)要培養(yǎng)學(xué)生運用what?疑問句、外貌詞匯 選擇則疑問句；學(xué)習(xí)策略目標(biāo)要求學(xué)生能夠通過上下文閱讀確定指代關(guān)系；情感態(tài)度目標(biāo)樹立正確的審美觀用愛的語言去描述身邊的美珍惜時間，關(guān)愛父母；本課即通過學(xué)生觀察、歸納、小結(jié)人物描寫素材、小組討論活動等方式，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生掌握教學(xué)重點內(nèi)容，突破教學(xué)重難點。新教材要求學(xué)生全面發(fā)展，學(xué)生的發(fā)展是英語課程的目的。根據(jù)學(xué)生實際情況，進行“教材分析”和“教材整合”，調(diào)整教學(xué)內(nèi)容以符合學(xué)生的認知水平。
