Vienna is a beautiful old city on the River Danube in the centre of Europe. It’s the capital city of Austria and the centre of European classical music. In the eighteenth century a lot of musicians came to study and work in Vienna.
The city of music
In the Strauss family, there were two composers called Johann Strauss: the father and the son. The father, Johann Strauss the elder, wrote and played music for traditional dances, called the waltz. His dance music made him famous all over Europe. The son, Johann Strauss the younger, was also very successful and popular. He wrote over 150 waltzes. In 1867 he wrote The Blue Danube waltz.

Mozart was another very important composer. He was born in

Austria in 1756. Before he was six, he played not only the piano but

also the violin. His family took him around Europe and he gave

concerts in many cities. He wrote hundreds of wonderful pieces of

music. But he became very poor and died in 1791 when he was only

thirty-five. Like Johann Strauss, father and son, he was a great European musician, and many people still think his music is perfect.

But he is called the “People's Musician” and his music is loved by every one.

導(dǎo)學(xué)重點(diǎn)：感嘆句
感嘆句是用來表達(dá)說話者說話時(shí)的驚異、喜悅、憤怒、氣憤等思想感情的句子。其結(jié)構(gòu)常由感嘆詞“What(How)+感嘆的部分+主語+謂語!”構(gòu)成。
由 what 引導(dǎo)的感嘆句，其句子結(jié)構(gòu)可分為以下三種：
1. 可用句型：“ What + a/an ＋形容詞＋可數(shù)名詞單數(shù)＋主語＋謂語！”。
What a nice present it is! 它是一件多么好的禮物啊！
2. 可用句型：“ What ＋形容詞＋可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)＋主語＋謂語！”。
What beautiful flowers they are! 多么漂亮的花啊！

二、由 how 引導(dǎo)的感嘆句，其句子結(jié)構(gòu)也分為三種：
1. 可用句型：“ How ＋形容詞 / 副詞＋主語＋謂語！”。

2. 可用句型：“ How ＋形容詞＋ a/an ＋可數(shù)名詞單數(shù)＋主語＋謂語！”。
How beautiful a girl she is! 她是個(gè)多么漂亮的姑娘啊！
3. 可用句型：“ How ＋主語＋謂語！”。
How time flies! 光陰似箭！
由 what 引導(dǎo)的感嘆句與由 how 引導(dǎo)的感嘆句有時(shí)可以轉(zhuǎn)換，但句中部分單詞的順序要有所變化。How beautiful a girl she is! ＝ What a beautiful girl she is!
What delicious cakes these are! ＝ How delicious these cakes are!
三、有時(shí)感嘆句也可以由一個(gè)單詞、詞組、祈使句、陳述句等構(gòu)成。
如： Good idea! （好主意！） wonderful! （太精彩了！） Thank goodness! （謝天謝地！）
