教學過程

Step 1：Warming-up 課前互動 展示天氣圖片，指導學生根據提示句子進行口語表達天氣預報。播放模塊單詞，要求學生跟讀并隨機暫停提問其詞義。 根據圖片及提示句子進行口語表達。聽讀單詞、根據記憶說出對應的中文詞義。 溫故知新，復習本模塊詞匯。
Step 2：Foundation and ability 夯實基礎提升能力 播放歌曲：You might think展示Language practice句子，要求學生朗讀，指點may/might的用法異同。展示中考真題及原創試題進行鞏固。 點撥may與probably的用法，指導學生獨立完成Activity 1，核對答案。指導學生兩人組完成Activity 2. 挑選幾名學生進行口頭匯報檢查答案。以同樣的方法完成Activity 3.4、指導學生獨立完成Activity 4 的填空，提問檢查答案。5、呈現Activity 5中的聽力題，播放錄音，要求學生獨立完成，核對答案。 6、展示天氣地圖，指導學生兩人組完成Activity 6中的問答。7、指導學生根據圖表及短文完成Activity 7，多媒體展示部分學生答案，予以鼓勵。8、指導學生閱讀Around the world資料。9、指導學生瀏覽問題，閱讀郵件回答教師問題。齊讀郵件并觀察郵件的書寫格式及正文寫法，完成Activity 8。仿照格式完成自己的郵件書寫。展示交流，教師點評。 1、欣賞歌曲，朗讀句子。掌握may/might的用法異同。試題進行鞏固。 2、根據may與probably的用法，獨立完成Activity 1，核對答案。3、兩人組完成Activity 2. 進行口頭匯報。 同樣的方法完成Activity 3.4、獨立完成Activity 4 的填空，檢查答案。瀏覽聽力題，聽錄音，完成核對答案。 6、根據天氣地圖，兩人組完成問答。7、根據圖表及短文完成Activity 7，展示答案。8、閱讀Around the world資料。9、瀏覽問題，閱讀郵件回答教師問題。齊讀郵件并觀察郵件的書寫格式及正文寫法，完成Activity 8。仿照格式完成自己的郵件書寫。展示交流。 寓教于樂、培養觀察與歸納能力。 鞏固情態動詞。 鞏固情態動詞，培養口語表達能力。 培養獨立思考能力。 培養聽力能力 培養觀察與口語表達能力。 培養觀察與閱讀能力 拓展閱讀。 提高合作探究與創新能力。

情態動詞兩要點, 動詞原形跟后面
說話語氣較委婉, can能力may許可
must責任或義務, 否定回答needn't換
should應該,would愿, have to 被迫表客觀
　　
1. 表“請求許可”，相當于can，不常用might
　 --May/Can I use your ruler？ 　　
--Certainly. Here you are.
2. 表可能性較大，可能性較小常用might 。否定句中常用 can’t 表示
“不可能”　
He may/might know you. 他可能認識你。
He can’t be at home tonight.
3. 表示希望、祝愿。
　May you be happy！ 祝你幸福！

The Amazon Rainforest is one of the
wettest places in the world. It has more than 200 cm of rain every year. The Amazon Rainforest has more different animals and plants than any other place in the world. Many rivers join the Amazon River as it flows over 6,500 km from the Andes in the west to the Atlantic Ocean in the east.
