學情分析 本課圍繞人物外貌描寫展開閱讀教學。繼續鞏固感官動詞的用法，學會閱讀提取信息，解決任務并能用英語描述自己及朋友的外貌、愛好、性格與品質是本課的重點與難點。
教 學 目 標 （一）知識與技能1、掌握本課重點詞語如proud--pride, sb. can’t wait to...，能較為流利地朗讀課文。 2、學會閱讀、提取信息，解決實際問題。3、學會用英語描述自己及朋友的外貌、愛好、性格與品質等。4、培養合作探究、語言的綜合運用與創新能力。（二）情感態度與價值觀鐘南山：白衣逆行，國士無雙。
重點 1、掌握本課重點詞語如proud--pride, sb. can’t wait to...，能較為流利地朗讀課文。 2、學會閱讀、提取信息，解決實際問題。3、學會用英語描述自己及朋友的外貌、愛好、性格與品質等。4、培養合作探究、語言的綜合運用與創新能力。

教學過程

Step 1：Warming-up 課前互動 呈現圖片，要求學生選用合適的感官動詞進行英文描述。展示任務，播放“黃金劫案”視頻片段，提問檢查學生的記憶能力，引導學生學習如何用英語刻畫人物外貌特征。 看圖說話，觀看視頻，掌握用英語描述外貌的基本詞匯。 溫故知新，寓教于樂，導入新知。
Step 2：Foundation and ability 夯實基礎提升能力 呈現本課生詞，指導學生朗讀并拓展詞匯知識。 要求學生根據提示詞句，兩人組口頭表達描述，完成Activity 1。然后快速閱讀Paragraph 2，完成Activity 2。速讀全文，完成Activity 3中的配對題，要求學生再次細讀課文，完成Activity 5。提問式檢查答案。 要求學生跟讀課文錄音，小組思考探究重點詞句。指導學生自由讀，齊讀、分組讀課文。要求學生仿照例文描述Picture B與同班同學，做課堂展示并予以鼓勵。.播放課文動畫。 指導學生填空完成Activity 6，多媒體展示答案進行核對。指導學生根據提示完成Activity 7 并挑選幾名學生進行朗讀，教師點評。 1、朗讀并拓展詞匯知識。2、兩人組口頭表達描述，完成Activity 1。然后快速閱讀Paragraph 2，完成Activity 2。3、速讀全文，完成Activity 3，再次細讀課文，完成Activity 5。檢查答案。4、跟讀課文錄音，小組思考探究重點詞句。自由讀，齊讀、分組讀。5、描述Picture B與同班同學，做課堂展示。.觀看課文動畫。6、填空完成Activity 6，展示答案進行核對。7、根據提示完成Activity 7 并朗讀自我描述，進行交流。 詞匯過關 培養口語與觀察能力。 學會閱讀，提取信息，解決實際問題。 培養朗讀與合作探究能力 寓教于樂、鞏固課文 提高寫作能力培養口語表達能力，交流學習。
Step 3：Practice實戰演練 展示隨堂練習“請你畫一畫”，限時3分鐘。多媒體展示部分學生作品。 完成繪畫并展示。 培養學生動手繪畫與創新能力，鞏固課文重難點
Step 4Homework課后鞏固 布置作業 選擇本班中的某個同學，在文中不出現真實姓名的情況下用英語進行具體的外貌與品質描寫，與同伴交換閱讀并猜測對方所描寫的對象是誰？ 能力創新、查漏補缺。
