When he asked Daisy to buy a packet of electricity, he just wanted to make Daisy look foolish. Because he thought Daisy couldn’t buy in packet like sweets. Electricity is like water, in a way. It comes into their flat through thin wires, and these wires are connected to the cables from a power station. It gives them power. Daisy bought batteries, and Benny have to say that Daisy really did buy a packet of electricity, because the chemicals inside produce electricity.
