主語+live/lives+in/on+地名， 表示某人居住在某地。
live動詞根據主語的變化而變化。
Language point
介詞in和on在表示方位的時候，在用法上有如下區別： in表示在……中，在……內，例如： in the village（在村里） in the fields（在田里） in the forest（在森林里） in the wall（在墻里面，例如在墻上打個釘） on 表示在一個平面上，例如： on the table（在桌上） on the wall（在墻上，例如在墻的平面上掛幅畫） 再比較： We swim in the river．（我們在河里游泳） We have a house on the river．（我們有座房子在河面上）

提起fish,它給人們的第一印象便是指“魚”,實際上它的用法并非如此簡單.fish用作可數名詞指“魚的條數”時單數和復數形式相同（two fish兩條魚）,指“魚的種類”時復數形式才為fishes（two fishes兩種魚）；fish用作不可數名詞時無復數形式,應作“魚肉”解（Help yourself to some fish.隨便吃些魚.）；fish用作動詞時,它的含義又與“釣（捕）魚”有關（go fishing去釣魚）.
在英語口語里,fish還常常被用來指“人”,類似于漢語里的“家伙、東西”等.如：a poor fish（可憐蟲）,a big fish（大亨）,a cool fish（無恥之徒）,a strange fish（奇人、怪人）,a loose fish（放蕩鬼）等.但必須注意的是,fish用來指人時形象雖然鮮明,但往往含有貶義.
