1. because表示直接原因, 它所指的原因通常是聽話人所不知道的, 語氣
最強。常用來回答why的提問, 一般放于主句之后，也可以單獨存在。
2. since側重主句, 從句表示顯然的或已為人所知的理由, 即對已知事實
提供理由，而不是表示直接原因。常譯為“因為, 既然”, 含有“不好”
或“勉強”的含義，通常置于句首。
3. as含義與since相同, 但只將既成事實作為理由,并不含有“不好”或”勉強”的
意味, 語氣更弱, 沒有since正式, 常譯為 “由于,鑒于”。從句說明原因, 主句
說明結果, 主從并重。
4. for “因為, 由于”, 用作并列連詞,不表示因果關系, 而是對前面分句內容
的解釋或推斷, 引導的分句前常有逗號,且分句不可放句首。
