“盡管,雖然”,
引導讓步狀語從句,
一般情況下可以和though互換,
但though比較口語化。而although
較正式,
另外although的語氣比though重。當although
/
though引導的從句放在句首時,主從句之間要用逗號隔開。although和though都不能和but在同一個復合句里連用。

在這種用法中,
主句的謂語動詞必須是持續動詞（非瞬間動詞）。
