長度，寬度，高度，深度的表示方法
表示物體的長度、寬度、高度、深度等有一個(gè)固定結(jié)構(gòu)：“基數(shù)詞+單位詞+形容詞”。如：
The path is 200 meters long.

It's only 380,000 kilometers away.
有時(shí)也可用“基數(shù)詞 +單位詞 + in +長度等的名詞”表示長度、寬度、高度、深度等。如：

注意：“這個(gè)箱子重10公斤”，可說:
The box is 10 kilos 或The box is 10 kilos in weight，但習(xí)慣上不說 The box is 10 kilos heavy。
Summary
“基數(shù)詞+單位詞+形容詞”這一結(jié)構(gòu)在句子中一般作表語，再如：
The well is about 30 meters deep. 這口井約30米深。
也可作定語，但應(yīng)放到所修飾的名詞之后。e.g.
We need a rope 10 meters long.
我們需要一根10米長的繩子。
也可表示為：We need a 10-meter-long rope .
此為復(fù)合形容詞的結(jié)構(gòu)，詞與詞之間用連字符，其中的單位詞用單數(shù)。
